The former Gestapo lair is today the seat of the Museum. It commemorates the heroism of Polish patriots, victims of the Gestapo, as well as postwar political prisoners. In seven cells there are materials documenting the terror used by the Germans in the Lublin region. There is also an exhibition devoted to former prisoners of Lublin Castle from 1944-54.
