Semicircular Tower

An element of the medieval fortifications of Lublin. It was probably built at the turn of the 15th/16th century, and its semicircular form corresponded to the then trends of building towers with easy access from inside the city. Tower was looked after by a merchant and shoemaker guild and was called the Shoemaker’s Tower. Next to it, there is a panorama of old Lublin on the wall.
A few steps from the courtyard where the tower stands, every day, we wonder what you will ask us at the Tourist Inspiration Centre (Jezuicka 1/3).
