The second largest forest complex in the Lublin area occupies over 460 hectares and is called the “green lungs” of Lublin. It is dominated by deciduous species, such as the common hornbeam and the common birch. In a part of the Old Grove, there is a nature reserve Stasin where a natural stand of black birch is being protected.
