The festival was devoted to songs from all over Europe, archaic, deeply rooted in tradition. Some of the works on display come from pre-Christian times when the gods were celestial bodies and the elements. It happens that some songs are discovered in the sources by ethnomusicists, and the event gives them a second life. Each year, the festival attracts artists from all over the continent.
