The riverhead is located in the village of Piotrków Pierwszy, where water in the amount of a dozen liters per second is lost in the cracked substrate of the valley bottom after 3 km of the river course. The next 4 km of the river bed is dry, and water appears only during periods of high surface runoff. The source of the constant course of the river is given by the springs above Jabłonna.

There is the Czerniejówka Valley bicycle trail nearby. It leads through places of natural, cultural and historical interest located in the Jabłonna. In order to make it easier to reach the most interesting objects of the trail, 12 information boards were set up containing a compendium of knowledge about a given place and a schematic map of the bicycle routes with which they were connected.
