The ruins of the Bychawa castle are located in the north-western part of the town called Podzamcze, situated by a reservoir of the same name. The construction of the Bychawa castle dates back to the turn of the 17th and 18th centuries, however, there was already a former defensive castle at this location with a visible earth moat.
