In the new Jewish cemetery in Bełżyce, established in 1825 on today’s Przemyslowa Street, the last burial took place in 1943. Until the outbreak of the Second World War it covered an area of 0.8 hectares. Few traces of matzevahs remain, having been destroyed during and after the occupation.
