“Passing through the shadows of slums and dwellings sunked into the ground, o Wanderer, the only thing on your mind is that your beloved city has already embraced you and is giving you a hug”, wrote Józef Czechowicz in his “Poem About Lublin”. He died prematurely in a bombardment during World War II. The museum dedicated to him contains letters, publications and manuscripts. There is also a photographic exhibition about Lublin, created by the poet himself.
