It was delineated in the Middle Ages, when Lublin was granted city rights. Lublin Market Square is the central part of the Old Town. The streets such as Bramowa, Olejna, Rybna, Grodzka and Złota diverge from it. The square does not have a regular shape – it resembles a trapezoid, with the Crown Tribunal in its middle.
