In socialist realist art, the figure of the ideological leader was central. The museum presents various products of Socialist Realist art – statues, paintings, posters, as well as coins and banknotes in circulation from the 1940s to the 1990s. The exhibition demonstrates how art can be used as a propaganda tool and what a threat any totalitarian system is.
