The interior of the basilica, as befits a Baroque temple, is richly decorated. The church’s façade is decorated with two towers and a facade rich in pilasters and cornices. The entrance portal supported by two columns is made of black marble. Adjacent to the church is a bell tower dating from the mid-18th century and a historic vicarage and parish museum.
