The Wieprz is the third largest river in the Lublin Voivodeship and is a right tributary of the Vistula River. It flows through, among others, the Roztoczański National Park, several landscape parks and municipalities of the Lublin Metropolitan Area, including Łęczna and Lubartów. The winding course of the river, rich in bends and meanders, creates an interesting landscape conducive to active recreation away from the hustle and bustle of the city. A particularly interesting attraction is canoeing, which is safe in this area and, due to its fairly low level of difficulty, is suitable even for people who are just beginning their adventure with canoeing.
