The former seat of the Committee of Jews In 1945-49 the Central Committee of Jews in Poland operated here, organized by Jews who survived the Holocaust with the help of the Polish National Council. The main activities of the Central Committee were the establishment of a Jewish school and the creation of a publishing house that would publish a newspaper. On the facade of the building, there is a plaque commemorating said Committee.
