The Arian Tower is a defensive and residential building erected by J. Pilecki, starost of Lublin, in the years 1520-1530. It is a remnant of a large defensive structure built at the end of the 14th century by the Szczekocki family of Odrowąż coat of arms. For years, it fulfilled the requirements of a comfortable dwelling, and the piled up walls ensured the owner’s safety and increased his social prestige.
