The temple was built between 1906 and 1909 and was designed by Jan Brzosko, an engineer-architect of the Lubartow district. The church was consecrated in 1909 by Bishop Franciszek Jaczewski, but for political reasons it had to serve formally as a private chapel of the Budny family until 1914. The temple is built of ceramic brick in the neo-Gothic style.
